Tooth Extraction
As a minimally invasive dental practice, at White Peak Dental we will always do everything we can to save a natural tooth from extraction.
There are times, however, when unfortunately tooth extraction is the foremost and only course of action. We may recommend a tooth extraction due to several reasons. These include impacted or infected wisdom teeth, overcrowding of the mouth, or in some cases baby teeth that have yet to fall out when adult teeth erupt.
We may also recommend tooth extraction if a tooth has been decayed or damaged beyond repair. In such cases, we would almost always recommend replacing the extracted tooth as soon as possible. We provide a wide range of replacement options, and will always help advise you on how good to replace your missing tooth or teeth.
Tooth extraction can be a nerve-wracking prospect for some patients, but there is no need to be nervous or fearful. We always ensure our patients feel comfortable and secure when receiving any treatment, and can offer sedation to those who feel they need it.
