Implants

We know how difficult it can be to live with missing and damaged or decayed teeth beyond repair, and always recommend replacement wherever possible and suitable. While not all patients are eligible for implants, they do present a highly secure, comfortable, and stable replacement for natural teeth. While implants can be used to replace either a single tooth, or multiple teeth at once, all implants are made of a metal screw that we then affix to the jawbone. This screw – which is normally made of a highly durable material called titanium – then acts as the new ‘root’ for your tooth. The new prosthetic tooth is then fixed atop of the implant, making for a highly stable and long-lasting replacement.
